A writer of match reports for the official Valencia club website has penned a scathing article after the 3-0 defeat to Atlético Madrid last weekend citing “zero competitiveness and intensity,” among Voro’s players in the Calderón.
"Glaring defensive errors and little attacking ambition"
In the first paragraph the anonymous scribe also rails against “glaring defensive errors, little attacking ambition and [Atlético’s] clear superiority from beginning to end.”
Later in the article the writer singles out Valencia players Zakaria Bakkali and João Cancelo as “insisting on playing like Atlético forwards.”
