The Bayer Leverkusen squad arrive in Madrid today and will train at the Calderon this evening with new head coach Tayfun speaking to the press beforehand in the media area of the stadium. The Bundesliga side were at the Calderon as recently as the 2014-15 campaign in the Champions League when the "Rojiblancos" knocked out the German side on a penalty shoot out.

Leverkusen will be buoyed with the presence of 1,200 supporters who will make the trip to the Spanish capital. Security levels will be high although the German fans are not famed for being overly polemic in their European travels, however given the high-profile of the game over 1.000 operatives from national police, private security services will oversee the match.
