Barcelona have highlighted Massimiliano Allegri as a potential replacement for Luis Enrique at the end of the season, according to Italian publication Premium Sport. The Juventus manager, who is celebrating his third season at the club with what looks like his third league title, plays against Barcelona in the quarter-final of the Champions League.

Premium Sport report that the Catalan club have already made contact with the Italian and entioned a contract that would run three years and set them back €8 million per year. Allegri has a great reputation in Italy where he managed AC Milan for four years before taking over at Juventus.

Luyis Enrique broke the news that he would not be returning after a win against Sporting Gijón recently and while Juan Carlos Unzué, coach of the team under Luis Enrique, is considered the favourite to take the job, Barcelona are making sure to look at every candidate that might be available to them.
