Thiago Alcántara not considering a return to Barcelona

Thiago Alcántara has no intention of returning to Barcelona next season, according to claims from Cadena SER and Mundo Deportivo. Both media outlets have refuted rumours which have been doing the rounds for the past few weeks suggesting that the midfielder could quit Bayern Munich and return to Camp Nou for the 2017/18 campaign.
Thiago happy in Munich and ready to renew his contract
The Spain internation is happy with his current situation in Munich where he is an undisputed first choice in the team and a key figure for one of Europe's top outfits. He feels valued in Germany, a welcome change from what he experienced during his time at Barcelona.
Barça sold Thiago in the summer of 2013 and the player left feeling a little neglected after having not enjoyed as much playing time as he would have liked. Now his intention is to renew his contract with Bayern Munich for a further two seasons, to effectively commit to Carlo Ancelotti's team until 2021.
