Update:

Atlético de Madrid trained this morning at the Cerro del Espino with just seven members of the first team squad: Moyà, Moreira, Koke, Cerci, Griezmann, Tiago and Gameiro. Moyà and Gameiro, who have both been saddled with injury problems, returned to work out with the group and completed a light session which lasted just under an hour. A number of youth team players were drafted in to make up the numbers.

Light recovery workout for Atlético's starters against Osasuna

The eleven players who started yesterday's game against Osasuna: Oblak, Juanfran, Godín, Lucas, Filipe, Gaitán, Carrasco, Thomas, Giménez, Torres and Correa exercised indoors - as did Savic, Gabi and Saúl.

The positive news is that both Moyà and Gameiro have been given the medical all-clear, allowing them to enter the squad list for the Leicester game. Simeone will be taking 20 players to England, leaving just the injured players: Vrslajko and Augusto in Madrid. Tiago, who was given a run-out against Osasuna has also been omitted.

Free-kicks and penalty practice

Curiously, at the end of the session, Cerci, Griezmann and Koke stayed behind to put in some extra shooting practice. Griezmann teed up two direct free-kicks with a wall and fired in both then took two penalties - one going in, the other striking the post. Cerci also practiced spot-kicks while Koke wound down with a few free-kicks from various points outside of the area.
