Police and Bayern Munich fans clash in the Bernabéu
Spanish police officers charged at Bayern Munich fans in the away section of the Bernabéu at half-time in the Champions League match between Real Madrid and Bayern.

At half-time in the Champions League quarter-final first leg between Real Madrid and Bayern Munich in the Bernabéu in the Spanish capital, police officers entered the Bayern Munich section and charged at the visiting fans. It's not clear at the moment what caused the police to enter the section, but they were seen wielding their batons against the Bayern fans.
Police sent reinforcements to Bayern section
The police sent a number of reinforcements to the section after the initial incident.
Incidents between the police and travelling fans at the Bernabéu are unfortunately all too common, with the security forces being accused by fans of having a heavy-handed attitude to their policing duties in the ground.
