Juankar: "We could screw Real Madrid... or help them out"
The Málaga player, who came through the youth ranks at Real Madrid, is excited about meeting Zidane's team on the final day. "We want a positive result at home".
Juankar spoke about next weekend's clash with Real Madrid at La Rosaledawhich could decide whether Zidane's team or Barcelona lift the league. It'll be a significant match for the Málaga left winger who came through the youth system at Real Madrid, and who is relishing the chance to face Los Blancos on the final day. "It's going to be a fun week because we'll be all over the papers in the sports new every day up until the game... We could really screw over Real Madrid... or give them a hand. We want to wrap up the season and go into the summer holiday's on a high and with good sensations and we want to take a positive result from this final game at home", Juankar said after the 2-2 draw with Real Sociedad at Anoeta.
Michel's magic touch rubbing off at Málaga
After dicing with the relegation places (the team dropped to 16th in Week 27) - the team's fortunes have changed completely under new coach Michel which has seen Málaga climb to a healthy 11th in the standings. The Andalucians have taken 19 points from a possible 24 and recently beat both Barcelona and Sevilla. "After what's been quite a poor season, we've managed to turn our situation around. Enjoying a positive run of results is the best way to lift morale. The downside is that the league is coming to an end, but the good things is that we have good sensations and the fans are all happy", Juankar ended.
