Real Madrid Nacho suspension appeal thrown out
The defender picked up a yellow card against Sevilla in the LaLiga match on Sunday, which means he will be suspended for the game against Celta Vigo. Madrid will appeal.
Real Madrid's appeal over Nacho's yellow card that he picked up against Sevilla on Sunday has been turned down, meaning in principle the player will miss the LaLiga match against Celta Vigo on Wednesday night through suspension, having been booked five times in the competition.
Real Madrid to appeal again
The club however will now take the case to the higher up appeals committee, who meet tomorrow before the game (kick-off at 21:00), to see if they can win the argument and have Nacho available for the crucial game.
Nacho has been vital to Zidane's defence in recent matches, though the French coach should have Pepe and Varane back for the match in Balaídos
Real Madrid closing in on LaLiga title
Provided Real Madrid can avoid defeat against Celta Vigo, a win against Málaga will see them crowned champions of Spain, no matter what Barcelona do against Eibar in their final match. If Celta Vigo however inflict defeat on Zidane's men, Barcelona will take the title if they beat Eibar, as they have the better head to head record against Real Madrid.
