Official: Real Madrid confirm Vinicius Junior signing

Real Madrid confirmed on Tuesday evening that they havecompleted the signing of Vinicius Junior after reaching an agreement with Flamengo to acquiring the teenage forward's federative rights as from from July 2018. The club added that Vinicius will officially join in July of the following year 2019, while adding that it is possible that the player could move to the Bernabéu before that date, on condition that both clubs reach an agreement.
Real Madrid's statement read:
"Real Madrid C. F. and Clube de Regatas do Flamengo have reached an agreement regarding the transfer of the federative rights of the player Vinicius Junior from July 2018. The player will remain at his current club until July 2019, although he will be able to play for Real Madrid before then if both clubs agree to it".
Real Madrid are beieved to have paid a reported 45 million-euro fee for the Brazil youth international who will remain with Flamengo until he comes of age on July 12th 2018.
Professional debut last weekend
He made his professional debut for Flamengo a week ago, and on Saturday was handed a second senior appearance in a 3-0 win over Atlético Paranaense.
