Real Madrid news round-up: Referee for final day and favourites to win

We round up the news on the final day of the season as Real Madrid travel to Malaga to face former Real Madrid favourite Michel's side.

Real Madrid take on Malaga at La Rosaleda at 20:00 CET on the final day of the season as Barcelona welcome Eibar to the Camp Nou at the same time. A draw will do los Blancos and there is plenty to chew on on the afternoon of the game.

Referee for tonight?

The referee for tonight's clash is De Burgos Bengoetxa. He has refereed Real Madrid four times with two victories, one draw and one loss. He has been the man in the middle on five occasions for the hosts tonight with two wins, two draws and a loss.

Warning from Malaga

Malaga have issued a warning in a public statement that says the anti-violence will fine anyone who goes on the field before, during or after the game €3,500. They want to treat it as a serious problem that can cause all sorts of problems and so, have set the fine at such a high number.

The director's meal

The traditional grub that brings the director's from both clubs together will take place at Reserva 12, a well-known restaurant close to the cathedral in Malaga - maybe a few prayers will be said too. Al-Thani is expected to be the host of Real Madrid.

Work has already started on closing off Cibeles where Real Madrid fans meet to celebrate every trophy.
