Juventus are to join the race to sign Monaco star Kylian Mbappé, according to Italian daily Tuttosport. The paper also states that the Serie A giants won’t stop at landing the France international but will cherry pick the side they beat in the semi-finals of the Champions League by making moves for Tiemoué Bakayoko, Fabinho and Thomas Lemar.
Mbappé to cost over 100 million euros
Tuttosport notes that relations between the clubs are cordial and that they remain in constant touch about potential deals. Juventus know that any agreement to land Mpabbé is going to require a new world record fee of over 100 million euros. Club sources quoted by Tuttosport described it as “exorbitant, but not impossible to pay.”
However, Juventus are not prepared to go much further than that to acquire Mpabbé’s services and with Real Madrid and several Premier League clubs also interested a bidding war could see the Old Lady pull out of the race.
