Griezmann, after transfer ban upheld, shows Atletico support
The French striker, strongly linked with a move to Man Utd took to Twitter on Thursday to say "Now, more than ever #Atleti #Alltogether".
Just hours after the announcement from the Court of Arbitration (CAS) that they rejected Atlético Madrid's appeal against their two-window registration ban, star striker Antoine Griezmann took to social media with a strong message of support for his club.
Now, more than ever Atletico
The decision means that the club cannot sign players again until January 2018 and their French striker posted on his official Twitter account the message: "Ahora más que nunca #Atleti #Todosjuntos" translated as "Now, more than ever #Atleti #alltogether along with him celebrating a goal at the Calderón.
With rumours linking the player to a summer move Manchester United, this looks like a positive sign for Atlético fans, although it does of course mean that top players being linked to support their talisman will not be joining, at least till January. Griezmann recently said that the decision whether he stayed or went was in the hands of the president.
Stories are already circulating that Manchester United have changed focus away from the Frenchman and are now concentrating on other targets.
