Real Madrid pre-season planning: friendlies, US tour, El Clásico...

Despite the curtain having just recently come down on the 2016/17 LaLiga Santander campaign, the Real Madrid squad will have a brief holiday and a chance to recharge their batteries before pre-season starts with the bulk of the first team squad set to report for duty on July 10 at Valdebebas.
With his involvement with the Portugal national team squad in the 2017 Russia Confederations Cup, Cristiano Ronadlo will be given additional time off and will join the group in late July.

The squad will fly to the US and begin pre-season in Los Angeles. Zidane's men will be Stateside until August 3rd/4th when they return to Europe. Real Madrid will play four pre-season friendly games during their stay in the States:
July 23: vs. Manchester United (San Jose)
July 26: vs. Manchester City (Los Angeles)
July 29: vs. FC Barcelona (Miami)
August 2: vs. MLS All-Star XI (Chicago)

Super Cup August
Upon return in early August, the focus then turns to the trilogy of Super Cup games that starts in Macedonia as Manchester United are the opposition in the UEFA Super Cup on August 8. The full seto of August fixtures sees "Los Blancos" play three games ahead of the start of the new league campaign. At present there are no proposed dates for the annual Trofeo Bernabeu.
