Real Madrid have arrived in Los Angeles' glamourous Beverly Hills district. The journey from Madrid to the west coast of the United States took 13 hours with the expedition arriving at LAX airport's Tom Bradley International Terminal an hour and a half behind schedule. Zidane, a bit hits with Madrid fans in LA
Around 30 fans spent four hours waiting patiently for the team's arrival outside the hotel main entrance and greeted the players - and in particular, the coach, shouting “Zizou, Zizou!” as soon as Zidane appeared from the team bus. Three South American fans broke into a rendition of the classic anthem: “¡Cómo no te voy a querer…!”. Others begged Morata, looking happy and relaxed in a fetching black baseball cap. Others chanted for Cristiano, the notable absentee on this tour…
Madrid's first workout on American soil at 10am in UCLA
The players will be taken through their first training session by Antonio Pintus at the training facilities at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) at 10am local time (19:00 CEST in Spain). It will be a light workout to loosen stiff muscles after the long flight from Spain and also a chance for Zidane to work with new signing Theo for the first time. The coach will also be able to see how Gareth Bale is shaping up after his holidays. He will also spend time talking in private with Morata and take a look at the reserve team players who have made the trip - Dani Gómez, Óscar, Franchu, Manu Hernando, Achraf, Tejero, Quezada and Luca Zidane.
