Two from Matheus Cunha and another from Vinicius Junior. It was a brilliant first-half performance from Brazil, only dampened by an injury to Raphinha.

And that's it from the first half, an impressive showing from Brazil to take a three-goal lead.
Nearly halftime now.

And now he's on the scoresheet. A brilliant run and a slick finish gets the Real Madrid man his goal.

Brilliant work from Vini down the left wing.
He dribbles down the left and into the Haiti box, where he clips in a teasing cross to the back post. It's a dangerous delivery but Haiti head the ball clear.
We're going to have six minutes of added time to end the half.
Two goals, a few injuries; that's probably about right.
First involvement for Rayan, who goes one-on-one against his man but the ball deflects back off him and out of play.

The game restarts and Brazil enjoy a good spell of possession to end the half. Carlo Ancelotti will be happy with what he's seen so far.
Haiti winger Josué Casimir goes down with an injury, slowing the game down further.
He receives treatment and has to trundle off the field as a result.
Back to the action, Brazil will look to play out the remainder of the first half in comfort now.
Those two Cunha goals have put them in a commanding position in Philadelphia.
The Brazilian party is punctured by an injury to Raphinha, who seemed to pull up out of nowhere. A worry for Brazil.
They're not risking it, Raphinha comes off immediately. He is replaced by Bournemouth youngster Rayan.
Vinicius seemed to gesture to his hamstring as Raphinha was receiving treatment. That will be a major blow for Brazil.

Cunha finishes emphatically for Brazil
Vinicius drives forward with the ball and slips a pass through to Cunha behind the Haiti backline.
Cunha is off-balance, veering to the left, but unleashes an unstoppable left-footed strike the soars into the near top corner. It's a brilliant finish from Cunha.

His first was scrappy, his second is sensational!
Brazil have a two-goal lead and it's an incredible strike from Cunha!
Haiti come forward again and manage to force a corner kick. This is a chance to deliver with quality...
The ball is good but Cunha gets a strong head on it to clear. Good working from the goalscorer.
Haiti manage to work the ball out to Experience on the left flank and have players rushing into the Brazil box.
The cross from Experience is comically bad, flying about 30ft over the Brazil goal and out for a goal kick.
Haiti need to show some composure in those moments.
Within three minutes of the restart, Brazil have tried three long ball over the top of the Haiti defense.
With Vinicius and Raphinha on either wing it's an approach that has merit. So far, however, the Brazil forwards have strayed offside too regularly.
Back to the action.
Haiti push forward and Jean Jacques makes a darting run with the ball into the Brazil box. It comes to nothing, but it's promising.

On second viewing, I may have given Cunha a little too much credit. The Manchester United man basically had the ball deflected off him and into the goal.
Still, they all count!
Hydration break
A brief interlude midway through the second half.
Brazil are probably good value for their lead, without really dominating the game against Haiti. Ancelotti will be hoping to see his team exert a bit more control after the break.
Cunha opens the scoring for Brazil
It was a poor turnover from Haiti to lose the ball in midfield. The ball was worked out to Vinicius who shot on target.
The effort was saved by Placide but the ball bounces out to Cunha, who finished from close range. Brazil lead!

Brazil have the breakthrough! The Manchester United man comes into the team and gets a crucial goal.
Raphinha misses huge chance
Brazil are back on the attack and thread a pass through to Raphinha. He is clean through on goal and chips the ball past Placide in goal but it bounces wide of the target.
Brazil win a corner on the left.
Raphinha swings in a cross but Haiti head the ball clear.
The oldest Brazil team since 1962
Confirmation of that earlier stat. Namely, this is a very, very old team.
An average age of 30+ is almost unheard of in the club game.
Haiti string together a nice spell of 20+ passes in the midfield and work it out to Carlens Arcus on the right flank. He clips a cross into the middle but the flag is up, he had drifted offside.
Frustrating for Haiti, who need to make the most of those openings.
Brazil take a corner kick and it flies all the way through to Vinicius at the back post. He cuts inside and works the ball onto his right foot but his effort is wild and it flies over the crossbar.
That Brazil effort came down the right flank and that sort of incisive wing-play will be crucial tonight.
Haiti have packed the middle of the field, making it very difficult to play centrally. Raphinha on the right and Vinicius on the left have more space and should be the key players for Brazil.
Raphinha has goal ruled out
it was a brilliant piece of attacking play there from Brazil, a series of one-touch passes that sent Raphinha in on goal.
He finished coolly but the assistant's flag was up immediately. The Barcelona man had strayed offside.

Brazil are ahead and it's a brilliant finish from the Barcelona man!
Free kick to Haiti on the halfway line. They play it short, getting a touch of the ball for the first time tonight.
Good ball forward towards Pierrot and he holds the ball up well. Haiti try to build but the ball trickle out for a Brazil throw-in.
Anyway, back to the action.
Brazil knock the ball around between Marquinhos and Gabriel at the back, looking for a route forwards.
The ball is worked out towards Vinicius who makes great progress down the left wing before losing the ball. Goal kick to Haiti.

Corner kick to Brazil! A Haiti goal kick takes too long and Brazil are awarded the corner, in line with FIFA's new anti-timewasting rules.
A bit harsh, but that's an early warning. The corner kick comes to nothing for Brazil.
Jean Jacques (Haiti)
Having escaped a yellow card seconds earlier, the Philadelphia Union midfielder is booked for a late challenge on Douglas Santos.
Deserved.
And just like that Haiti midfielder Jean Jacques snaps into a tackle with Vinicius. It's a free kick to Brazil.
Brazil are being given time on the ball at the back but Haiti are snapping into the challenges in midfield.
That will be the blueprint for tonight, trying to stay compact and battling with Brazil in the central areas.
Brazil play back to Alisson and he pumps the ball long. It's rebuffed by Haiti, who will be quite happy to defend those kind of balls all night.

Interesting point on the commentary about this Brazil team - it's the youngest Brazil starting XI for a World Cup game since the 1962 World Cup.
Aged 25, Vinicius Junior is the youngest player in the team that starts against Haiti. Endrick would bring the average down considerably, should he feature.

Brazil’s huge head-to-head lead
This will be Brazil and Haiti’s first ever meeting a men’s World Cup - they have met three times in other contexts, though.
Unsurprisingly, those three meetings resulted in three wins for the Brazilians, with 22 goals scored in the process and just two conceded.
They last met at the 2016 Copa América in the U.S., where Brazil thumped Haiti 7-1 in the group stage; Coutinho (remember him?) scored a hat-trick for the Seleçao. Before that, Brazil were 6-0 winners in a 2004 friendly, and 9-1 victors in a 1959 meeting at the Pan-American Games

Ancelotti spoke about the disappointment of starting with a draw against Morocco: "You don't win the World Cup in the first match. The players' self-criticism was very positive. I think we'll sort out the problems; I remain confident that we'll be competitive."
"We're going to make a few changes... Improve our balance and our play. We can do better and we have to do better."

Brazil might not have it all their own way
The Haitians lost their World Cup opener last weekend, going down to Scotland in Foxborough - John McGinn's first-half strike earned a 1-0 victory for the Scots.
It means Haiti remain without a win or even a draw at a men’s World Cup - in their only previous appearance at the tournament, in 1974, they lost all three group games and conceded 14 goals in the process.
But Haiti gave a very good account of themselves against Scotland and had more attempts on goal than the Scots - 15. Incredibly that was more than any other team in Group C on matchday one. Frantzdy Pierrot went very close with a late header against Scotland and he start again today.

Making only their second-ever appearance at the World Cup, Haiti are still looking for a first point at the tournament.
They put up a spirited showing against Scotland last time out but fell just short. Now they take on Brazil, the most successful nation in the competition's history.

And here's how Haiti will line up. There is no place in the starting XI for Wilson Isidor, the Sunderland striker. Philadelphia Union midfielder Danley Jean Jacques starts in his (adopted) home city.

Can Haiti pull off a shock against Brazil?
Brazil are still looking for their first win at the 2026 World Cup, having been held by Morocco in their Group C opener. The Seleção are the overwhelming favorites for three points today and they take on Haiti, in the group stage’s biggest world-rankings mismatch.
Currently, FIFA has Brazil at No. 5 and lowly Haiti at No. 85. But we've already seen some shocks from the likes of Cabo Verde and DR Congo - could Haiti do something similar?
