Former Barca presidential candidate sees Neymar "closer to Paris than Barcelona
Agustí Benedito says the work of Barcelona's board in intolerable and that Neymar too has a bad attitude but keeping him around is vital to the club's success.
Spanish entrepeneur and former Barcelona presidential candidate, Agustí Benedito, says the running of the club is intolerable and as a result sees Neymar being "closer to Paris than he is to Barcelona" at this point in the saga of the summer.
Benedito has plenty of criticism to spread around and says while he values what the Brazilian does on the field admits that "he has an unacceptable attitude" but also says that it would be a terrible loss if Neymar was to leave.
"It would be a shocking to lose Neymar to replace him with pawns or horses because he rules the board. It is extremely important that he stays with the team. He can only be replaced by a similar player and there are none out there like Neymar," said Benedito, and also said "they have to find a solution to this problem."
Regarding the photograph Piqué posted to Instagram and Twitter, Benedito says "he is the type of guy who understands the vibe at Barcelona. I think that this photo was more a wish of his than that of Neymar's."
