Neymar event in China cancelled, his inner circle deny it was due to take place
The Chinese travel agency Ctrip announced that it has cancelled an event in with Neymar. AS understands that his representatives deny the existence of the event.
Neymar’s future appears to be steadily moving away from Barcelona. The Chinese travel agency Ctrip has published a press release on the social media platform Weibo, in which it states that it has cancelled an event with Neymar on Monday because the Brazilian is “busy with transfer business”.
Neymar's family claim even was never organised
The Barcelona winger, who has been embroiled in a transfer saga involving Paris Saint-Germain, was due to travel to China after the pre-season match between Real Madrid and Barcelona in Miami.
Yet, Diario AS understands that Neymar’s inner circle deny that the player had an event organised with Ctrip in Shanghai.
Ctrip promise to reimburse attendees
Ctrip informed of the cancelation of the event, and the reimbursement of tickets, in the following statement:
“Esteemed users, we regret to inform you that the even originally scheduled for July 31 2017, in which Neymar was due to participate, has been cancelled as he is busy with transfer business.
“Ctrip will contact users to return tickets and reimburse them.”
This news comes on the same day that Neymar stormed out of Barcelona training in the United States following an altercation with team-mate Nelson Semedo.
