Real Madrid will contest the European Super Cup against Manchester United in Skopje, Macedonia on Tuesday 8 August. The club has announced that the team will not be wearing the classic all-white kit against United, instead, the players will wear the third kit - the all-black strip. Madrid may have to wear white socks as not to clash with United's home kit, to comply with UEFA's regulations.

It won't be the first time Madrid have worn their black kit in a final. The team sported their dark strip when they won the 2000 Champions League against Valencia in Paris.
Tuesday's final will be the first UEFA final to be played in Skopje as Madrid aim to become the first team to win back-to-back trophies since AC Milan managed the feat in 1989-90. Madrid have won the Super Cup three times while United have lifted the trophy just once - in 1991, when the format changed to a single, one-off match. Brian McClair scored the only goal of the game, against Red Star Belgrade at Old Trafford.
