Stoke police joke on Twitter about "missing person" Özil'
An Arsenal supporter sent a message via the social media platform to the official account of the local police force only to find they also had some humour up their sleeve.
Following Stoke City's surprise 1-0 defeat of Arsenal in the second week of the Premier League, a fan of the London club took to Twitter to ask the Stoke police force a question about the integrity of the result. Whether for a joke or out of frustration was unclear.
Stoke thieving victory
The fan suggested to the police that the single goal by ex-Real Madrid player Jesé Rodríguez was somewhat against the run of play (the Gunners had 77% of possession across the game) calling the result a robbery.
Ozil disappearance
What the supporter may not have been expecting was the response from the 'boys in blue' who questioned the performance, or lack of, from one of Arsenal's top players, finishing the tweet off with the hashtag #banter. Public relations in full effect.
