Spain not regarded as favourites for Russia World Cup
Despite "La Roja's" convincing performances under the guidance of Julen Lopetegui, key betting outlets tilt in favour of Germany, France and Brazil to lift the World Cup.

With enthusiasm and support growing for Spain's push for an automatic quantifying place in next summers Russian World Cup, major betting outlets still deem Lopetegui's men not to be in top ranked favourites to lift the trophy on July 15 in Moscow.

Following last night's routine win over Liechtenstein and Saturday's dazzling demolition of the Italians in Madrid, "La Roja" are considered as current fourth favourites to add to their South Africa 2010 win.
At present current holders Germany and beaten Euro 2016 finalists France are touted by three major betting outlets as the likely nations to secure the 2018 trophy. Despite struggling in the COMNEBOL group stage, Lionel Messi and Argentina are deemed as fifth favourites whilst Cristiano Ronaldo and Portugal are listed as tenth favorites for Russia next summer.
