Real Mallorca to charge fans for face-to-face chat with head coach
Season ticket holders will be charged 15 euro for the privilege of talking to the first team coach and a player after games at Son Moix.
2B side Real Mallorca have launched an novel initiative where supporters of the club can pay to talk about the game with coach Vicente Moreno and one team player at the conclusion of home games at the Palma based Son Moix stadium.
The idea has been called the Tercer Tiempo (third half) and will be debuted at the conclusion of today's home game against Llagostera.
15 euro charge
The cost for a post match "chat" Moreno is 15 euro for season ticket holders and non season ticket holders being charged 20 euro.
Ten supporters have already filled the quota for the Llagostera game with Vicente Moreno replying "it's not my decision" upon being asked for his opinion on the initiative. "My only worry is beating Llagostera", he added.
The Balearic based club have also introduced a new pay-per-view system whereby fans can watch home game son line for a sum of 3,99 euro with games away being home streamed for free.
Last season Real Mallorca were relegated to 2B and are property of the ownner of NBA franchise Phoenix Suns, Robert Sarver.
