Julen Lopetegui needed to reshuffle his squad with Morata, Iniesta and Carvajal ruled out of Spain's qualifiers against Albania and Israel.

Update:
Aduriz, Viera and Odriozola called up by Spain to replace Morata, Iniesta and Carvajal

Real Sociedad right-back Álvaro Odriozola, Las Palmas midfielder Jonathan Viera and Athletic Club striker Aritz Aduriz have been called up as last-minute replacements in Julen Lopetegui's Spain squad after Dani Carvajal, Andrés Iniesta and Álvaro Morata all had to drop out after picking up injuries at the weekend.

Aduriz, 36, makes his return after being excluded from Lopetegui's most recent lists with the coach calling Iago Aspas and David Villa for last month's qualifiers. The Basque striker has 11 caps at full international level and has scored twice during those games. With Athletic, he is on 7 goals between the team's involvement in LaLiga and the Europa League and recently brought up his 150th goal for the club.

Álvaro Odriozola gained his first call-up in the summer but failed to make his debut in Spain's friendly against Colombia in June. He has made three appearances with Albert Celades' Under-21 team. At club level, he has played nine games with La Real between the league and Europa League.

Jonathan Viera has never been called by Spain's senior side although he has represented his country at Under-21 level. Now, as one of Las Palmas' key players and in the form of his career, he has convinced Lopetegui he deserves a run-out out with La Roja. With Las Palmas he has played all 7 of the team's league games so far and scored once.

Spain squad to convene in Las Rozas today

Aduriz, Odriozola and Viera will join up with the rest of the Spain squad at the Ciudad del Fútbol today. Lopetegui's team play their final two 2018 World Cup Russia qualifiers against Albania in Alicante on Friday, then three days later against Israel in Jerusalem.
