The second daughter of former Real Madrid player Roberto Carlos has had her first child, Pedro, making Carlos a granddad at just 44.
Roberto Carlos is celebrating after becoming a grandfather. The former Real Madrid player's second daughter, Giovanna, who is now 20, has given birth to her first child in Brazil, Pedro, making Roberto Carlos a granddad at just 44. Giovanna is the daughter of Roberto Carlos and his first wife, the Brazilian Alexandra Pinheiro, with who he had two other children, Roberta and Roberto.
Roberto Carlos excited to become a grandfather
Roberto Carlos' first grandchild was presented on Instagram by the player with an emotional message: "Congratulations to my daughter @pinheirosgi on the birth of my grandson #PEDRO. May you be healthy, my daughter and may God bless you and your beautiful child".
Pedro arrives just after his youngest aunt
Pedro has arrived just three months after his aunt Marina, Roberto Carlos' second child with his current wife Mariana Lucón, who he has been married to since 2009.
As well as his five children from his two marriages, the Brazilian has also had four children with other women.
