Former Real Madrid man, Julio Baptista, is in Spain for the World Football Summit taking place in the country's capital city. The Brazilian is a free agent and in search of a new club after having his contract option declined by Orlando City last November. He spoke about his former teammate, Zinedine Zidane's, influence on the bench at his former club and also spoke about his compatriot Neymar's departure from Barcelona in the summer.

Zidane: "His career has been incredible. He is doing some really impressive work and the team has an incredible stability with him on the bench. The players are blindly committed to his work and this gives him confidence. He gives the club a necessary stability and the players feel confident in return, along with the winning of titles. The fans, too, are content and that means they can work much more calmly. This is very important at Real Madrid."

Neymar's departure: "It was a personal matter, I would imagine. To feel important and to be the best player in the world. That doesn't take into account the incredible and spectacular economic agreements that were in place. There are other things like the tax issue, and within the marketing aspect, that can hurt him. This idea that the Spanish prosecutor's office does not recognise his image rights, which is something important, because with them the players can earn a lot more than just their wage."
