Update:

At 41, Cristiano Ronaldo is in the twilight of his professional soccer career. However, he is still on course for what would arguably be his biggest achievement yet: winning the World Cup with Portugal.

The veteran superstar has won almost everything there is to win at club level across Sporting CP, Manchester United, Real Madrid, Juventus, and Al Nassr.

Champions League dominance

Ronaldo is, of course, synonymous with the Champions League, a competition he won five times and in which he holds the records for most appearances and goals.

He has also won eight league titles. You might be surprised to learn he won more with Manchester United (three) than with Real Madrid (two), and the same number in Italy as he did in Spain.

His most recent trophy came with Al Nassr, lifting the Saudi Pro League title, a long-awaited achievement that had looked like it might elude him during his time in Saudi Arabia.

International success with Portugal

The Portugal captain has also tasted international success, most notably winning the European Championship in 2016, when he was infamously forced off in the final through injury.

He later added the UEFA Nations League to his honors list in both 2019 and 2025, meaning only the World Cup is left.

How many trophies does Ronaldo actually have?

All in all, Ronaldo has either 35 or 36 team trophies, depending on whether you credit him for Manchester United’s 2008 Community Shield victory.

He did not play in the penalty shootout win over Portsmouth, but he was part of the club’s squad that season.

For the purpose of this article, we have given him the benefit of the doubt, although it is a gray area in terms of how different statisticians and databases count team honors.
