Raúl's son turns out at Valdebebas - against Real Madrid
Jorge González, the eldest son of the Real Madrid legend, currently plays for SEK El Castillo and played against his father's former side at the weekend.
Jorge González, the eldest son for Real Madrid legend Raúl, got his boots muddy on the turf of Real Madrid’s Valdebebas but not, as might have been expected, in the white shirt his father wore on 940 occasions but in the yellow of SEK-El Castillo, the football team of the school he studies at.
“It doesn’t matter where you are but where you want to get to,” 16-year-old Jorge posted on social media after the game against one of Madrid’s academy sides.
After a spell in the USA, where his son won the New York schools league with Fordham Prep, Raúl returned to Madrid and is now working with the youth teams in the club’s academy system.
