Betis want to 'scare the parakeets' despite their respect for the animal kingdom
Real Betis are set to play Espanyol and have posted a funny picture on Instagram as they hope their fans will take over the Cornellà-El Prat on Monday night.
Real Betis are in excellent form recently under Quique Setien and their social media performance is peaking too. They proved this with their announcing of new signing Ryad Boudebouz during the summer. Their recent matchday poster is a picture of a concerned parakeet - the nickname for Espanyol fans - accompanied with the message, "our respect for the animal kingdom is maximum but today is Betis Day and we want to scare the parakeets."
Just like every time Real Betis travel to Catalonia, which is considered the 'Ninth Province' of verdiblanco fans, the fans will flock to the RCDE Stadium and hope to frighten the life out of Espanyol. Hundreds of Betis fans are set to travel to watch the club play in Barcelona.
It will be Real Betis's fourth game away from home this season after losing to Villarreal, beating Real Madrid at the Bernabéu and drawing 4-4 with Real Sociedad at the Anoeta.
