The first Madrid derby at the Wanda: 18 November at 20:45
The first meeting between Atlético and Real Madrid at the Wanda Metropolitano will be played a week on Saturday and will be televised in Spain by Movistar Partidazo.
LaLiga have confirmed the kick-off times for fixtures corresponding to Week 12 which include the first ever Madrid derby to be played at the Wanda Metropolitano. The meeting between city rivals Atlético and Real Madrid has been given a prime time slot on Saturday 18 November at 20:45 CET and will be broadcast live in Spain by Movistar Partidazo.
Atlético's fortunes at the Wanda Metropolitano
Cholo Simeone's team will be hoping to have sorted out a series of issues by then - Atleti have won just twice at their new stadium since it was inaugurated on 16 September - against Málaga in Week 4 and then Sevilla in Week 6; they drew at home to Barcelona and Villarreal and suffered a 1-2 to Chelsea in the Champions League Matchday 2.
Real Madrid meanwhile have an almost perfect away record with four wins on the road (Deportivo, Real Sociedad, Alavés and Getafe); the only blemish was Sunday's 2-1 defeat to Girona at the Montilivi. In the Champions League, Zidane's team won 1-3 in Dortmund.
This Madrid derby takes place four days before Atlético host Roma - a match which could determine whether they have any options of remaining in the Champions League, and after the international break - LaLiga will be on hold for the 2018 World Cup Play-offs and friendlies scheduled for 10th, 11th and 12th November.
