Tuesday's front pages in the Catalonia-based sports press bring names of possible Barcelona recruits for next season, with Sport and Mundo Deportivo identifying the same position for strengthening, but different targets.
Sport says Lenglet, Mundo Deportivo says De Ligt
Sport claims that Barça have earmarked Sevilla's Clement Lenglet, 22, to boost their options in central defence, noting that the Frenchman - who moved to LaLiga in January - "has a 30-million-euro release clause and has settled very well in Spanish football."
Mundo Deportivo, meanwhile, says that Ajax Amsterdam's 18-year-old Dutch international Matthijs de Ligt is "the choice" as the Blaugrana seek to make a long-term signing at centre-back.
Barcelona "keeping tabs" on Griezmann situation
The newspaper also reveals that current Barça defender Samuel Umtiti "doesn't want to renew his contract until after the World Cup" and adds that the Catalans "are keeping tabs" on forward Antoine Griezmann's situation at Atlético Madrid.
