Dembélé training with the ball, dreaming of playing Real Madrid
The Barcelona striker has been out with a torn tendon since September, but after an operation his recovery has gone well.
Barcelona striker Ousmane Dembélé is back training with the ball and in a couple of weeks is expected to be back training with the full Barça squad. The striker, signed from Borussia Dortmund in the summer for 105 million euros plus 40 million easily obtained add-ons, ruptured a hamstring in his left leg after 24 minutes of Barcelona's LaLiga match against Getafe on 16 September. The prognosis at that point was an operation, which the player underwent, and three to four months out.
Dembélé in Rennes
This weekend Dembélé was in Rennes, where he began his career, visiting his former club who paid tribute to him. French television cameras filmed him talking to his former team-mates about the possibility of joining the Barcelona first team squad in two weeks time. And if things go as well as possible Dembélé could be match fit in time for the Clásico at the Bernabéu on 23 December.
