Real Madrid 'eliminated' from Copa del Rey by Spanish FA

The Spanish Football Association (Real Federación Española de Fútbol) briefly "eliminated' Real Madrid from the 2017/18 Copa del Rey but Madridistas can rest assured that the lapse by the federation was quickly amended and Zidane's men are through to the last 16 of the competition and will be in Tuesday's draw.

The RFEF website was updated this afternoon showcasing all the sides that have made it through to the next phase of the tournament and in the Real Madrid vs. Fuenlabrda tie it stated that the 2B outfit had made it through to the next round of the competition.
The error appeared on the Spanish FA website for a few minutes before the gaffe was spotted and rectified.
