Carvajal misses training ahead of Athletic match
The man in the mask, Sergio Ramos, is back after his broken nose against Atlético Madrid. Bale, absent.
Real Madrid trained ahead of Saturday's LaLiga match against Athletic (kick-off at 20:45) at San Mamés. Zidane called up Castilla players Óscar (Óscar Rodríguez Arnaiz, midfielder) and Tejero (Álvaro Tejero Sacristan, defender), along with Juvenil A goalkeeper Moha.
Carvajal a doubt for Athletic match
Defender Carvajal skipped the team session and trained on his own in the gym, but it's not clear if he's a doubt or not for Saturday's match (we've asked Real Madrid and as soon as they get back to us we'll update).
Bale out of trip to Bilbao
Who will miss Saturday's match is Gareth Bale, who was confirmed as being out for the game last night. He missed training on Wednesday and is said to be struggling with his calf injury again after his 30 minute spell against Fuenlabrada in the Copa del Rey.
Asensio and Luca continue with their respective recoveries, with the midfielder exercising alone, and the goalkeeper trotting about on the grass.
Ramos back with a mask
Sergio Ramos meanwhile will be back, sporting his custom made mask, after breaking his nose against Atlético on 18 November. He's missed the following matches: Champions League against APOEL, LaLiga against Málaga, and the Copa del Rey match against Fuenlabrada.

The Real Madrid players spent the session focused on possession, controlling and passing the ball, followed by a mini-game on a small pitch and then crosses and shooting.
