Spain to kick off World Cup campaign against Portugal
Put it on the calcnder as Ronaldo and Portugal will face Ramos and Spain in Sochi on 15th of June to kickstart their World Cup campaigns.
Spain have been drawn in Group B for the World Cup in Russia next summer and will play Portugal in Sochi on June 15th to kickstart their respective group stages.
The last time the two sides met in the grup stages at an interational tournament was in 2004 when Portugal won the game 1-0 thanks to a Nuno Gomes strike, and also topped the group as their neighbours fell at the first hurdle. They finished third behind the Portuguese and Greece, who would go on to win it.

They played each other in Euro 2012 in the semi-final with Spain prevailing on penalties 4-2 and before that in 2010's World Cup. Spain won that 1-0 thanks to a David Villa strike. They have played each other 19 times in total with Spain winning seven, drawing seven and losing five.
The last two winners of the European Championships - Spain in 2012 and Portugal in 2016 - will also play against Iran and Morocco.
