Atlético's Antoine Griezmann swaps football for horses
The Atlético Madrid striker was missing from the matchday squad for Sunday's trip to Real Betis so instead took his family to enjoy his other passion.
Atlético Madrid had a successful trip to Seville this Sunday, ending in a 0-1 victory thanks to a goal on the half-hour mark from Saúl. That victory at the Estadio Benito Villamarín gave Diego Simeone's side another three points and has them keeping pace with their neighbours in the race for LaLiga. One player that they did without was their star striker, Antoine Griezmann.
The Frenchman was missing following a muscle injury picked up in the final Champions League group game against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge last Tuesday. And not having to be with the team, the player chose to enjoy some time with his other passion: horses.
Along with his wife, Erika Choperena, and daughter Mía, they made sure that fans of the player could see what he was up to through their social media accounts.
