Nearly there ....a final run through the draw from UEFA's Michael Heselschwerdt who reiterates the procedures relating to the draw .... 32 sides and we're ready for action ....

Today's draw assistant will be Éric Abidal (Europa League ambassador) ...

Mr. Marchetti once again talks us through the draw procedure ... no sides can face countries from the same federation and Dinamo Kiev cannot face Spartak Moscow on political grounds.

UEFA offer us a quick round-up of some of the finest goals from the competition so far ... This year's final takes place in Lyon on May 16th (2018)

We're back in Nyon for the final draw of the year.... It's the Europa League 2017/18 round of 32 draw.... once again Pedro Pinto is our MC !

There are some big guns in the Europa League this season with the addition of BVB, Atleti, Napoli ...they join the likes of Arsenal, Zenit and Lazio among the favourites for the trophy.

Europa League round of 32 games will take place on Thursday Feb. 5 and the return legs on Feb. 22

Celtic fans selecting their ideal rival for the next round:

We'll be back in 20 minutes to learn how Atleti, Real Sociedad, Villarreal and Real Sociedad fare in the last 32 Europa League draw

PSG claiming "it's our time" after the draw ....

A rather downbeat Emilio Butragueño not exactly over the moon with the PSG draw... "They (PSG) won't be happy either he claims!"

The exact matchday's and ko times will be released later this evening by UEFA after consultation with local right's holders. We'll bring you these upon release. Ok... time for a quick tea break and we'll be back at 1300 CET with the Europa League Round of 32 draw.

The first legs of the last 16 will take place on 13, 14, 20 and 21 February 2018, with the second legs scheduled for 6, 7, 13 and 14 March 2018

Alonso talks us through us time with Liverpool and Madrid in the competition. Now it's time for Mr. Heselschwerdt to talk about the dates for the round of 16.

Today's draw assistant is going to be former Liverpool. Real Madrid, Bayern and  Real Sociedad great Xabi Alonso

UEFA secretary Giorgio Marchetti now talks us through the draw procedure.... (which we actuallly know) but protocol and all that ....

5 English sides in the draw for the first time in history with just Chelsea in Pot 2... they join United, City, Spurs & Liverpool  in the last 16

Recent UEFA draws have been nimble affairs with the right balance of pre-amble, waffle etc and actual business time draw action... even the recent Russia 2018 World Cup draw was a smooth affair....

It's time.... We're off to Nyon and our host Pedro Pinto (sporting a George Michael "Faith"-era stubble) greets us .....

Don't forget, the draw for the Last 16 of the 2017/18 Europa League will take place with Athletic, Real Sociedad & Villarreal in the pot ...and Atletico Madrid too who finished third in their UCL group....

The draw room in Nyon starting to fill as delegates are summoned in.... 6 minutes to the midday start...

Champions League group stage statistics: Ronaldo, Barça, Saúl....

Some decent research being done here !!!

Don't forget that after the UCL Last 16 draw, we'll have the Round of 32 Europa League draw where Villarreal, Athletic & Real Sociedad will learn thir rival for the next stage of the competition as they continue on the #RoadToLyon

PSG still favourites to lift the 2017/18 trophy in Kyiv (despite last week's defeat to Bayern) with Shakhtar and group winner Besiktas rank outsiders at 100/1.

Mixed bag from Real Madrid fans of who their ideal rival would be.... many opting for Besiktas but others going for PSG & Man. City

Bad news folks... word is reaching us that bad weather has forced the cancellation of Rod Stewart's flight to Geneva and sadly the veteran crooner will play no role in today's draw ; )

This is the draw Juve fans want according to a recent social media conducted poll....

Sevilla's possible opponents are: Man United, Man City, PSG, AS Roma, Besiktas, Tottenham.

Barça can face: Shakhtar, FC Porto, FC Basel, Bayern Munich or Chelsea

Here are the possible rivals for Real Madrid: Manchester United, Man. City, PSG, Liverpool, Besiktas and AS Roma
