Roig: "Rodri is a Villarreal player but anything can happen"
The president and owner of Villarreal spoke about Marcelino and the derby against Valencia along with the future of Rodri with Atlético Madrid linked.
Fernando Roig, the president of Villarreal, would not rule out the possible departure of Rodrigo Hernández with Atlético Madrid and Barcelona linked with the midfielder recently.
Derby against Valencia: "We are going with a lot of hope to the Mestalla. We will try to win with everything we have and we hope that it is a good game to finish out the year. We have 24 points after the difficult win over Celta Vigo and now we can finish the year well at a difficult pitch to play at. If we didn't go with all of the hope in the world, we would just stay at home."
Marcelino: "He was a trainer who came here when we were in Segunda and he made us competitive, he helped us to be where we are now. We had good results with hm on the bench."
Semedo injury: "This is one for the manager. He has three defenders, and Pau in the reserves and Calleja will know what he has to do."
Rodri: "Rodri is a villarreal player, with a contract. In football, everything can change and anything can happen if it has to. I hope we have a good season and everyone does what they have to. Rodri is a good player and he that he will continue to be a good player at Villarreal."
