Casemiro on Madrid's transfers: "What we need is to play better"

The Real Madrid midfielder said his side wouldn't be giving up despite the 16 point gap to Barcelona at the top of the Liga table.

Real Madrid midfielder Casemiro, spoke to the TV cameras after his side were held to a 2-2 draw by Celta Vigo in Balaídos.

Bad start to the year. "It was a tough game, above all really intense. Both sides played good football, but it's two dropped points. We need to keep working, but this makes everything a lot tougher". 

The match. "We had a good first half. We tried not get hit on the break, but we got caught. We should have made it 2-3. It's vital to kill these games off, if you don't they'll hurt you". 

Catching Barcelona. "We know it's tough, but Madrid never give up. If there's one side that can turn this league around it's Madrid". 

New players in the transfer window. "What we need is to play better. The problem isn't a keeper. When we lose, we all lose".
