Atlético's Godín fit to face Copenhagen after losing teeth
After losing teeth against Valencia at the start of the month, Diego Godín can return to Atlético Madrid action in the Europa League on Thursday.
Diego Godín is available for Atlético Madrid's Europa League last-32 first leg with FC Copenhagen having lost teeth in a collision with Valencia goalkeeper Neto at the start of the month.
The Uruguay international, 31, was forced off in the 1-0 LaLiga win at the Wanda Metropolitano on 4 February, ultimately requiring reconstructive surgery.
Television replays of the incident highlighted the extent of Godín's injury, capturing the image of one of his teeth flying out of his mouth.
Godín back after sitting out out Málaga win
Godín subsequently missed the 1-0 league victory at Málaga on Saturday, but is back in the squad for Thursday's encounter, as Atlético begin their Europa League campaign following elimination from the Champions League group stage.
