Diego Pablo Simeone gave the latest updates on his team, who play host to Celta de Vigo tomorrow afternoon in Week 28 of LaLiga.  There was some positive news from today's training session in Majadahonda.

Saúl and Koke are back scoring. Are you expecting more goals from your midfielders?

Our midfield players have the possibility to provide goals and we need them to accompany our forwards when we attack; we also need to be more incisive from dead-ball moves, that's vital for us to compete.

Oblak back in business

How's Oblak?

He's available. He trained well today. I'm not a doctor myself but our medical staff have told me that he is in good shape. He had a bit of discomfort to his hand and his groin but he's fine now. He trained with Pablo, he asked to train to see how he felt and he will play tomorrow.

And Filipe Luis?

He's fine too, he put in a fantastic game the other night, and also in Barcelona. He is playing at exactly the level we need from him.

Learning from the masters

You spoke about Axel Werner on Thursday, what is the role of the non-regulars at Atleti?

I don't think it's a situation that is exclusive to Atleti - you will find this within any dressing room at every important and competitive club - players need to prove themselves and show what they are worth every day. We need to see attitude, willingness, and a keeness to listen to and learn from  the best players. The best way for any player to come into a dressing room is to focus on the top players and watch them at work. After that, it's all up them as individuals and all of our have our own character; some are more inteligent than others.

What can you tell us about Celta - Maxi and Iago Aspas?

They are a top team, especially from the midfield forward; Lobotka moves the ball well between lines and whether he has support from Sisto, or Mor out wide on the left, they are a dangerous side going forward. They are having a fantastic season, they're a tricky team to play against. Maxi only arrived quite recently and he's having a good season.
