Montella names Sevilla's 23-man squad for Manchester United
The absence of Sébastien Corchia and Jesus Navas along with Miguel Layún being cup-tied means they have no natural right-backs in their side.
After training on Sunday, Vincenzo Montella, named his 23-man squad to travel to Manchester for the second leg of the Champions League last 16 tie at Old Trafford on Tuesday night.
The absences are Sébastien Corchia and Jesus Navas who have been injured for two months and two weeks respectively. Their injuries and the Layún's ineligibility mean Sevilla travel to England with not right-backs and Gabriel Mercado will surely have to shift over from the center to fill the gap left in Montella's side.
The 23 players Montella has called up for Sevilla's trip to Manchester
Rico, Soria, Soriano, Mercado, Kjaer, Pareja, Carriço, Lenglet, Escudero, Arana, Pizarro, Geis, Nzonzi, Roque Mesa, Banega, Sarabia, Correa, Nolito, Franco Vázquez, Ben Yedder, Muriel, Sandro, as well as Layún although he is not eligible having played for Porto in the CL earlier in the season.
