Koke on Griezmann: "If you're at Atleti, you have to be committed"
The Atlético Madrid and Spain midfielder spoke about playing Argentina at the Wanda Metropolitano and Griezmann's status as an Atlético player.
Koke Resurrecioón spoke to the El Partidazo de COPE ahead of Spain's game against Germany on Friday analysing his situation with the Spanish squad and Antoine Griezmann's status at Atlético Madrid.
Happy to be with the national team: "It will be really nice to play at the Wanda with the national team, but the nice thing is to play with Spain, it doesn't matter where."
Differences between Atlético and Spain's styles: "With Spain we have more possession, and at Atlético it's different. We play much more direct, without as much control."
Diego Costa: "Costa knows how to look after himself, when to kick up and fuss and when not to. At the World Cup, he's not going to change. If he doesn't play like that, he doesn't give everything he has.
The Champions League and Europa League: "More than Qarabag, the one we slipped up in is the Rome game. If we win the Europa League and we finish second in La Liga, it will be a very good season."
Griezmann and his future: "If Griezmann wants to be here, he will play here, but if you are here you have to be committed."
Satisfied at Atlético: "I have hopes of finishing my career at Atleti. I am a fan and I want to play here all my life. I want to finish competing games with Atleti and, why not, one day pass Abelardo (Atlético Madrid legend who played with the club for 17 years)."
Iniesta, Saúl, Isco and Asensio: "There is only one Iniesta, Saúl has excellent potential, Isco has a lot of quality and everything Asensio does, he is doing well."
Messi and Cristiano: "Messi is the best in the world. Cristiano has won everything but I love Messi."
