Real Madrid's win at Bayern Munich saw Cristiano Ronaldo fail to score in a Champions League match for the first time in nearly a year.
Ronaldo last drew a blank in Europe's top club competition in last season's semi-final second leg against Atlético Madrid, on 10 May 2017.
Champions League's longest ever scoring run
The Portugal captain then embarked on a run of scoring in 11 consecutive Champions League games - the longest such streak in the competition's history.
In total, the sequence brought 17 goals: two in last season's final win over Juventus, and 15 more this term in matches against APOEL, Borussia Dortmund, Tottenham Hotspur, Paris Saint-Germain and Juve (two games each).
Marcelo, Asensio the scorers for Real Madrid in Munich win
The striker did have the ball in the net in Wednesday night's semi-final first leg at the Allianz Arena, only for his powerful drive to be ruled out for a handball.
Goals by Marcelo and Marco Asensio ensured Real came from behind in Munich to take a 2-1 lead into the second leg at the Bernabéu on 1 May.

Sequence in all competitions also ends
Ronaldo's goalless evening also brought an end to a run of having netted in his last 12 games in all competitions for Real, stretching back to 10 February.
