Rafael Nadal conceded that his remarkable exploits as the Barcelona Open could have peaked after he claimed his 11th title there on Sunday.

Nadal defeats Tsitsipas in Barcelona

The Spaniard showed little mercy to Stefanos Tsitsipas, defeating the Greek teenager 6-2 6-1 to etch his name onto the trophy once again.

It was Nadal's 19th consecutive victory on clay and the world number one has now won an incredible 46 sets in a row on the surface.

Despite that dominance, Nadal suggested that his glory years may soon be behind him.

Asked whether there were yet more titles to come in Barcelona, Nadal replied: "You can't predict things and even less in sports.

"I don't know how many more titles I will win here. I'll probably stay on 11, I don't know.

"There are so many things that influence and the things that are going good now can change and go bad.

"There are physical things and things in life that I can't control and they can affect how I'm feeling.

"I try to value everything that happens."
