Real Madrid celebrated their aggregate win over Bayern Munich in the Champions League semi-final last night at the Bernabéu, heading over to the fans in the stadium, wearing a commemorative t-shirt celebrating the fact that the side had made it to the final in Kiev on 26 May.
The shirt had a large number 13 on the back of it, with a 'K' before it and 'V' after, making reference to the location of the final.

The reaction of the Liverpool fans was immediate, with supporters turning to Twitter to vent their feelings at Real Madrid "disrepecting Liverpool".
For example:
Real Madrid have already got no 13 shirts printed. I think that is awesome they are underestimated us so much. Thinking they have it won.

Madrid have already printed “Real Madrid 13” shirts? Right then.

There are just a couple of problems with the reaction from those Liverpool fans who thought Real Madrid were behaving arrogantly. Firstly, Liverpool haven't qualified for the final, and while they have a major advantage over Roma, having won the first leg 5-2, to think they are already in the final would make them guilty of exactly what they are accusing Real Madrid of: disrespecting a rival.

But the bigger error is that the shirt says "A POR LA 13", which means something along the lines of "Let's fight/go for the 13th" or "All out for number 13". Not in any way, "Hurrah, we've won the 13th".
Sometimes words matter.
