Isco misses out on Real squad, Varane included for Camp Nou
The Spain midfielder is still recovering from a shoulder problem and Zinedine Zidane has decided not to take any risks ahead of the Clásico.
Zinedine Zidane has called up 19 players for the Clásico in Camp Nou on Sunday but midfield maestro Isco will not feature as the Spain international has failed to recover from a shoulder injury that he picked up in the Champions League semi-finals against Bayern Munich in the Allianz Arena.
France defender Raphael Varane has been included in Zidane’s squad after passing a fitness test on a muscle injury sustained during the second leg against Bayern but it remains unclear whether he will be in the starting XI or on the bench.
Dani Ceballos has been called up in place of Isco while Nacho is also included after recovering from a thigh injury.
