Rummenigge: "Lewandowski will play for Bayern next season"
The director at the Bundesliga club is in no doubt about the future of the Polish striker who he knows they are fortunate to have on a long contract.
For Karl-Heinz Rummenigge there is no doubt: Robert Lewandowski will play next season for Bayern Munich.

According to German paper Bild, the Polish striker will continue in the Bundesliga next season, with the Bavarian club's general manager not considering the sale.
"We are very fortunate to have Lewandowski and even more so that he has signed a long contract with us. There is nothing to worry about, he will play at Bayern Munich next season," Rummenigge confirmed.
Lewandowski has been making headlines around the world of football in his efforts to negotiate a transfer away from Bayern, even going so far as to hire Pina Zahavi, a prestigious agent, to make it happen. However, the fact that his current contract runs till the year 2021, the German giants have a strong hand with which to hold him.
