Klopp and everything that is not tactics

Update:

Picking up a microphone that he finds at a party is not something that makes Jürgen Klopp feel uneasy. He enjoys dancing when he's invited to and plays his part in the happiness, and the sadness, of others. He gets carried away by emotions, and loves creating a communion between those on the stands and the team. Because of the natural empathy he feels for others, he would have made a great doctor, a path he almost followed.

Football, more than just tactics

Like all coaches who believe that football is much more than just a case of victory or defeat, Klopp first needs to feel that he is creating something special to convince others (getting them to give more of themselves) and then because it helps change the mentality of his footballers. Those are the ones who he asks to run more than ever, to do everything at full speed, with maximum intensity, and leaving everything they have on the field of play.

This is also why it is important for the German coach to get to know his players and to sit down with them before they sign. Football is all of this and Klopp is across so many other details that have nothing to do with on-the-field tactics. Football is also taking the squad to a different world, to a new routine, ahead of the most important game of the year. They will train, but the main accomplishments of the visit to Marbella will be achieved through casual conversations between his lads in the corridors, the restaurant and the hotel bar.
