Martial: Atlético eye Man United man as Griezmann replacement
According to Le10Sport, Manchester United's French forward Anthony Martial has caught the eye of Los Rojiblancos with Griezmann's future uncertain.
Atlético Madrid have identified Manchester United's Anthony Martial as a replacement for Antoine Griezmann, with the striker heavily linked with a move to Barcelona.
Atleti hope to keep Griezmann
Atleti remain hopeful that Griezmann will accept the offer of a €20-million-per-year contract that is on the table. Yet Barcelona also have their sights set on the No.7, who scored a brace on Wednesday evening as Atlético beat Marseille 3-0 to lift the Europa League.
According to Le10Sport, 22-year-old Martial is the preferred choice at the Wanda Metropolitano.
Mourinho keen on Vrsaljko
He scored nine goals in 30 appearances - 12 of which were from the bench - as Jose Mourinho's United finished second behind Manchester City in the Premier League table.
Reports in the English media suggest that United are interested in Atlético right-back Sime Vrsaljko, which may make a deal for Martial easier to close.
