Whistles amid applause for Griezmann's Atlético introduction
The French striker was brought on to the Wanda Metropolitano field early in the second half against Eibar and the rumours of his potential move to Barça weren't ignored.

Antoine Griezmann started the final match of the Liga season on the bench and, upon his introduction early in the second half he was greeted with applause which was tinged with some whistles from the rojiblanco faithful.

It was a day where much of the focus of the focus was on another striking great for the club, Fernando Torres, who was playing for the club for the final time. With the Spaniard scoring both goals in their 2-2 draw with Eibar, the negative elements to Griezmann's arrival in the 53rd minute (for Koke) was the only sour part of the emotional occasion.

The rumours of the Frenchman's imminent move to league rivals Barcelona was not lost on some of the home fans, although it did appear that this was a small minority of those in attendance. A large part of the stadium applauded and cheered as the man who played a huge role in Atlético lifting the Europa League trophy on Wednesday came on.
