Real Madrid reject two offers of €150m for Asensio
It is not the first time Asensio has ruled out a dizzying offer in favour of staying at Real Madrid, who have written a 700-million-euro termination clause into his contract.
"Madrid has received two offers for Marco Asensio for 150 million euros, but the club has rejected both of them. He has an extraordinary future," said Horacio Gaggioli, the player's agent, in an interview on Spanish radio.
Gaggioli did not give names, but admitted that they were two Premier League clubs and that interest in the Spanish international is not new, despite the fact that Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has set a termination clause of 700 million euros.
Asensio, future Balon D'Or winner
It is not the first time Asensio has ruled out a dizzying offer in favor of staying at Real Madrid. Last season he said "no" to several of Europe's biggest clubs. Real Madrid know that in Asensio, they have a future Ballon D'Or winner.
Gaggioli also spoke about Barcelona's failure to sign Asensio before Madrid: "Bartomeu knows he was wrong. These are things that happen in life. Time passed and Florentino moved faster. We had everything closed."
